Your experience of sepsis
This role is for people personally affected by sepsis, either through their own experience or someone close to them. Sharing lived experience is central to this volunteer role  it helps raise awareness, spark conversation, and bring sepsis out of the shadows.

We ask this because lived experience is essential for this particular role. If this doesn’t apply to you, you may be better suited to one of our other volunteering roles.

You don’t have to share personal or emotional details here – but if you’d like to, we’re ready to listen.
Sharing your story
We provide full training and support for everyone in this role, so don’t worry if you're unsure. These questions help us understand what you might feel comfortable with at this stage.

  • A tutor, teacher, or mentor
  • A volunteer coordinator

  • A coach or club/group organiser
