The UK Sepsis Trust – Cardiff Half Marathon 2026
Charity Place Terms and Conditions
By applying for a charity place in the Cardiff Half Marathon 2026 (CHM26) with The UK Sepsis Trust (UKST), applicants agree to the following terms and conditions:
1.	A non-refundable registration fee of £40 is required to confirm the charity place.
2.	A minimum sponsorship pledge of £400 (excluding Gift Aid) must be raised and donated solely to The UK Sepsis Trust.
3.	All fundraising proceeds must be paid directly to The UK Sepsis Trust. No personal or event-related expenses may be deducted from the funds raised.
4.	It is the responsibility of the participant to notify The UK Sepsis Trust if they do not wish to receive event-specific communications.
5.	Participants must confirm that they are sufficiently fit and healthy to take part in the event. Should this change, medical advice must be sought prior to participation.
6.	All costs associated with participating in the event, including travel, accommodation, and equipment, are the sole responsibility of the participant.
7.	A minimum of 50% of the fundraising total (£200) must be received by The UK Sepsis Trust by 1st August 2026.
8.	The registration fee is non-refundable, including withdrawal from the event.
9.	If the participant is no longer able to take part, any sponsorship collected must be refunded to the donor or donated to The UK Sepsis Trust, subject to the donor’s wishes.
10.	In the event of cancellation or participant withdrawal, there is no guarantee that the place will be deferred to the following year.
11.	By accepting a charity place, the participant commits to taking part in the event and fulfilling the minimum fundraising pledge.
12.	Upon receipt of the registration fee, The UK Sepsis Trust will add the participant’s details to the official CHM26 charity console once it opens. Details and the registration link will be shared via email.
13.	If the participant fails to complete the official CHM26 console registration within four (4) weeks of receiving the registration link, The UK Sepsis Trust reserves the right to withdraw the place at its discretion.
